Detroit Stoker Company is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting with Babcock at the 98th SASTA Congress, taking place August 18–20, 2026, at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban, South Africa.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the South African Sugar Technologists' Association (SASTA), the 2026 Congress is recognized as one of the premier technical conferences for the global sugar industry. The event brings together engineers, mill operators, researchers, manufacturers, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge and showcase the latest advancements in sugar processing, factory operations, combustion technologies, and sustainability. Last year's congress welcomed 675 registered delegates, 173 exhibitors, and attendees representing more than 18 countries.
