The Detroit® RotoStoker VCG is an air-cooled vibrating grate that offers many of the features and benefits of the Detroit® Hydrograte Stoker. It is designed to provide exceptional efficiency in burning a wide range of fuels ideally suited for both new and retrofit installations.
Features of the Detroit® RotoStoker VCG an Air-Cooled Vibrating Gate
The air-cooled vibrating grate of the Detroit® RotoStoker VCG is driven by the same eccentric mechanism as the Detroit® Hydrograte Stoker. Its performance characteristics are fully adjustable, meaning that the system can easily be optimized for specific operation conditions as needed.
Low Setting Height
The RotoStoker VCG has a low setting height, making it ideal for installation in plants without basements or a similar location.
Automatic Ash Discharge
The intermittent gate vibration moves the fuel bed forward, allowing ashes to be automatically discharged on the air-cooled vibrating grate.
