Continuous Ash Discharge

• The Detroit® RotoGrate Stoker features a forward-moving, air-cooled traveling grate that continuously discharges ash.
• On request, we can also provide heat-resistant grates in various materials as chosen to suit customer-specific requirements.

Hinged Bar Design Facilitates Air Flow

• Our Air-Cooled Traveling Grate features a unique, hinged bar design that permits bars to open at the lower portion of the catenary to discharge ash siftings.
• This hinged bar design facilitates air flow to the fuel bed.
• The Stoker’s catenary design also provides automatic take-up or tensioning of grate chains to prevent jamming

Additional Features of the Detroit® RotoGrate Stoker

• The design contains automatic air seals for accurate control of air flow to the grate surface.
• The stoker’s high pressure overfire/secondary air system provides effective staged combustion and thorough mixing of flue gases and combustion air high in the furnace which allows the control of emissions.
• Thermocouple assemblies in the design allow for accurate monitoring of grate temperature.
